TRACKS TO THE PAST
September 8 & 9, 2012 - Saturday 9am-dark and Sunday 10am-5pm
Admission: $2 adults and $1 children 12 and younger
Train rides: Additional $1 all ages
Be sure to visit our 10th annual antique power show and fall festival!
In addition to train rides powered by the quarter-scale coal-burning steam Engine 901, there will be exhibits of:
* gas engines and tractors
* tours of our 1920s era B&O caboose
* operating layouts of HO model trains and Lionel toy trains
* demonstrations of shingle cutting, blacksmithing, and rope making
* antique cars, military vehicles, and fire trucks
* hammered dulcimers
* woodcarvings, including demonstrations by the Millstream Wood Carvers
* 57th OVI Civil War reenactors
* antique Erector sets
* and more!
An all-u-can-eat delicious Pancake Breakfast, including a serving of sausage patties and a drink, will be served from
7:00am-9:00am Saturday and Sunday.
Breakfast is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger.
The show runs 9am-dark on Saturday; 10am-5pm on Sunday.
Daily admission to the show is $2 for adults and $1 for children 12 and younger.
Train rides are an additional $1 for all ages.
A donation to benefit our museum is requested for miniature horse and buggy rides.

Pumpkins: $-To be advised as we get closer to the date (Note: Visitors may ride the train without purchasing pumpkins.)
Autumn is a great time to visit us. You can take a little train ride with your children (or grandchildren) to our 'pumpkin patch' where the little ones can chose their special pumpkin and have it shipped by rail back to the station. Where else can you get a Halloween pumpkin that rides a train? Be sure to bring your camera to save the memory!
Train departs approximately every 15 minutes.

This is our most popular, feel-good-all-over, family event. It has become an annual tradition for many families.
Bring everyone
out to take a magical little train ride around our track decorated with sparkling lights and holiday decorations.
Warm up inside
with a cup of hot chocolate, fresh-popped popcorn, and other treats. Or eat a meal of fresh-grilled hamburgers, cheesy nachos, and hotdogs.
See little faces light up as they watch holiday-themed toy/model train layouts go 'round and 'round.
Take a stroll to see 40+ beautifully decorated Christmas trees, each unique.
And do some shopping in our railroad gift shop stocked with
items for big and little train enthusiasts.

Be sure to dress warmly with hats, scarves, and mittens as train coaches are open-sided. Many visitors bring lap blankets to bundle up!
The little train runs twice around a half-mile of 15" gauge track. It departs approximately every 15 minutes.
As a thank you to our military personnel, free admission and one train ride will be given to active duty service members and their immediate family upon presentation of a valid D.O.D. Identification.
